The Plum Lake Woman’s Club was founded in 1936. All of their fundraising efforts go towards benefitting the local community. Some of their past and present projects include:
- New display for Veterans’ photos in Town Hall
- Clean and organize Community Kitchen
- “Hospice Quilts”
- Flags for Veterans in Cemetery
- Baskets of goodies and supplies for the Animal Shelter
- Hospice Memory Bear Project
- Activity Totes for children visiting sick or elderly
- Toiletry bags for Women’s Shelter
- Valentine Cards to cheer local people
- Easter Cards/Bags to cheer local people
- Handmade items and craft projects to help raise funds
- Donation to help update Town Hall
- Sayner Public Pier
- Sayner 4th of July Parade Float and Games
- Holly Hangers for Town Holiday Greens
- Decorations
- Pines Senior Scholarship
This organization also makes annual donations to the Plum Lake Library, Museum, Fire Department, Ambulance/EMTs, and the Animal shelter.
