Local Info

The Sayner-Star Lake-Cloverland area consists of the Town of Plum Lake and the Town of Cloverland, both subdivisions of Vilas County and reside in the Northland Pines School District. Total census population of both areas total approximately 1600 residents, according to the most recent census numbers, but is estimated to swell to well over 5000+ residents during the summer months.

Together the areas consist of 135 square miles with much of the land being state and county forest and approximately 11 percent made up of lakes, rivers and streams. This makes for a fantastic area for all type of outdoor recreation to include camping, fishing, hunting, hiking, biking, boating, off-road and snowmobiling adventures. The possibilities are endless.
