Make Tracks in Sayner-Star Lake-Cloverland

The snowmobile trails are officially open and ready for winter adventures in Sayner-Star Lake-Cloverland. Are you new to riding the groomed trails? No problem! You can pick up a map when you’re in town or order one directly from the Sayner-Star Lake Barnstormers. Also, be sure to read up on the Wisconsin state trail pass before you venture out.
Our trail system is worth making tracks this winter! We’re located right in the center of it all. Any direction that you head out of Sayner-Star Lake-Cloverland will connect you to a neighboring community for miles of excellent trail riding. There are plenty of routes to take. Here are three suggested routes to get you started:
1. A quick ride
From downtown Sayner, head south on corridor #15. Then take trail #70 and head towards Mar-Li’s Bar, pit-stop #43, to grab a bite to eat. Rumor has it their broasted chicken is a real crowd pleaser!
2. A day trip
Head north out of Sayner towards Star Lake on trail #7. If you’re hungry for an amazing thin crust pizza, hit up Hillside Tavern & Grill, pit-stop #38. Otherwise continue on the trail to Star Lake and be sure to stop in at Stillwaters Food & Spirits, pit-stop #35. If you’re out and about on a Friday, definitely give their fish fry a try! From there head east towards Land O’ Lakes circling back south and west through Conover and Cloverland trails for miles of great riding!
3. Trip down historic Trail 51
Gear up for a trip down historic trail #51. This snowmobile trail winds through the Northern Highland-American Legion State Forest and is one of the oldest trails in the state, a portion of which is maintained by the Sayner-Star Lake Barnstormers.
